Dear highly sensitive friends,
It's nice to be writing to you again. I hope your holidays are full of contentment and connection.
What's in this issue?
Holiday gifts that change lives--for example, when you give to someone who might be highly sensitive or have a sensitive child. Besides all the books, the HSP Store has DVDs and CDs of lectures not available elsewhere.
Sensitive men on your list? They would never think of it on their own, but if you give them a copy of Ted Zeff's new book, The Strong, Sensitive Boy, they will benefit immensely. So much of it is about the impact of how they were raised and the comparison of men's experiences in different cultures, based on the many sensitive men Ted interviewed all around the world.
Every HSP should have a copy of The Undervalued Self. Since it is still only available in hard cover, you are both providing a nicer edition and seeing that they do not have to wait for the paperback.
Your favorite therapist needs to have a nice fresh copy of the new Psychotherapy and the Highly Sensitive Person.
Two courses this spring on the Undervalued Self
- Kripalu in western Massachusetts, March 18-20. Woods, meadows, great food, yoga for every level.
- Esalen in Big Sur, California, June 3-5. Hot springs hanging over the Pacific, amazing gardens, redwoods.
Those who came last year to these two seminars said they gained so much that I decided to repeat them. The course evolved into a moving, intimate weekend of learning to link with others in a much deeper, more skillful way, and also to link with parts of one's self never contacted before. Definitely no one left as an undervalued self.
Over half of those who came were HSPs, which made it very HSP-friendly.
