Dear HSPs, In this issue:
I will be speaking in Europe on April 2, 4, and 5. April 2, a Thursday evening event in Utrecht. The details are not set yet but will be posted here soon. April 4, Saturday, in Ghent, Belgium on "How Attention to Sensitivity Leads to a Greater Well Being." The location is Groenzaal (St.-Bavohumaniora), Lange Boomgaardstraat. Contact the HSP organization there, P. Van Duyseplein, 12a, 9000 Gent. The telephone is (0032) (0)473/33.96.33. Their email address is info@hspvlaanderen.be and their website is www.hspvlaanderen.be. An entire day of activities are planned, but I will speak 9 am to 11:30 (doors open 8:30) I will also speak to professionals 12 to 1. April 5, Sunday, I will speak in the morning on "The Undervalued Self" at the second European HSP Gathering Retreat in Somerset, England. HSPs are attending from all over England, as well as Denmark, Germany, Spain and the US. You can still register. Jacquelyn is offering the "mid-range" conference delegate fee of £340 if you can register by March 1st. This includes all meals. Please go to www.lifeworkshelp.com for the provisional agenda and to download a registration form. Rooms are going fast so contact her as soon as you can. Also coming up: Colorado HSP Gathering Retreat: Oct 1-4, 2009 - YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, Colorado right outside Rocky Mountain National Park. Registration information coming soon. (Not certain yet if I will be at that one.) Do You Know Anyone Parenting a Child with Asperger's? This really has nothing to do with HSCs, except that all of us want to help those facing this difficult parenting challenge. I'm asking because my niece, Carol Spaulding-Kruse, is putting together a book for these parents, a compendium of suggestions from those parents wishing to share their experience. So if you know anyone who might like to contribute, have them call her at 515-271-3969 so that she can mail them her questionnaire. A Haiku for these times... Winter disappoints.
